Our story and heart
Welcome to The Craft Crawl. We are a woman- and veteran-owned mobile craft studio based in Jacksonville, North Carolina, dedicated to bringing people together through hands-on creative fun, laughter, and authentic community connections.
Meet Amy: passion turned mobile
Hi, I am Amy! I have always loved making things. My passion truly bloomed during my time as a literacy advocate, when I began crafting hands-on projects to help children connect more deeply with stories. After seeing that same creative magic ignite at home with my own children, I decided to take our craft experiences on the road. Bringing the studio directly to local hangouts lets us meet people right where they are. When I am not setting up workshops, you can find me binge-watching baking and cooking shows, exploring new cultures, traveling, or spending quality time with family and friends.
Crafting as connection and joy
You do not need to consider yourself an artist to join the table. In fact, we believe art is never about perfection—it is about trying something new, letting off steam, and creating something delightfully unique. Our workshops are designed to feel like creative therapy. We want every person to walk away feeling lighter, proud of what they made, and connected to the people around them. Whether you haven't picked up a brush since grade school or craft every weekend, you have a seat waiting with us.
Rooted in the Jacksonville community
Supporting small business is at the very core of our mission. Partnering with local Jacksonville breweries, bars, cafes, and gathering spots creates a supportive micro-community where everybody feels welcomed and known. When we team up with local venues, we cultivate neighborhood belonging while celebrating creative talent right here at home. You bring the people—we will bring all the craft supplies, instruction, and energy.
"Art is never about perfection. It is about laughing together, letting off steam, and leaving with something you are proud to call your own."
